So far this year, cholera has killed more than 4,300 people across 31 countries. These figures are underestimates and there is particular concern for those impacted by war in Sudan, Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Sudan and Yemen.  

The special prosecutors’ team, which is investigating various allegations surrounding Ms. Kim Kun-hee, has reportedly summoned and questioned five regional chapter leaders within the Unification Church (now the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification) in 2022. The special prosecutors reportedly questioned them about whether missionary funds within the church were used for illegal political funding.

The United Kingdom released a statement with 27 of its allies, many of them European, condemning the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza and calling on Israel to take immediate steps to alleviate humanitarian suffering.
